Burlesque

Hi! How are you???

Yesterday I went to the cinema with my friends but there are so many film that we didn’t want to choose only one. Finally, we decided to see Burlesque, the new Cher and Christina Aguilera film.
The film is about Ali Rose, a small-town waitress with a big voice who escapes hardship and an uncertain future to follow her dreams in Los Angeles. After stumbling upon The Burlesque Lounge, a majestic but ailing theater, owned by Tess that is home to an inspired musical revue, Ali wants to work there, even if only as a waitress. She is refused, but simply starts waiting tables, and is hired as waitress after all.
The Burlesque’s outrageous costumes and bold choreography enrapture the young ingénue, who vows to perform there one day. Soon enough, Ali builds a friendship with a featured dancer named Georgina, finds an enemy in a troubled, jealous performer named Nikki, and garners the affection of a bartender and fellow musician, Jack. With the help of a sharp-witted stage manager, Sean, and gender-bending host, Alexis Ali makes her way from the bar to the stage. Her spectacular voice restores The Burlesque Lounge to its former glory. Nevertheless the theater faces bankruptcy. Charismatic entrepreneur Marcus Gerber wants to buy it, and makes a generous offer, with plans to replace it with a high-rise building, but Tess declines the offer. A solution is found: Tess sells the air rights above the theater to the developer of a nearby building project, who thus obtains the right not to have the view from his building blocked by a high-rise building at the location of the theater.
The film was quite interesting even though it was like almost musicals.

If you see it, I’ll hope you enjoy it!

             See you soon!!
